Ballman Roofing Contractors, Roof Fascia and Guttering  – New and Repair Work Undertaken.

Fascias are used for capping the roof rafters feet outside the building, protecting them from rot and to fix the guttering. The finished surface below the fascia and rafters is called the soffit or eave.

Traditionally, fascias and soffits were constructed from painted timber. The downside to the timber construction is that regular maintenance is required to avoid rotting, and due to access difficulties with most properties, the work is often labour intensive and therefore costly.

UPVC is a popular choice today as it doesn’t rot or flake. Once the product is installed, it will greatly improve the appearance of your home, increase its value and with no maintenance required, you can rest assured knowing your home is protected.

Ballman Roofing Contractors provide expert installation, using the highest quality products to make your roofline look supreme.

The purpose of guttering is to efficiently channel rainwater from the roof towards a downpipe, which in turn carries it down to ground level and then into the drainage system. This system helps to stop the walls of the house becoming saturated and subsequent problems with dampness.
